Sterilize your wooden spoon.

It is always recommended that we disinfect the spoon frequently. More importantly, when they come into contact with food or surfaces that may contain harmful bacteria. To disinfect it, wash the wooden spoon with soap and warm water. Place them on a flat surface, preferably on a clean baking sheet. Pour up to 3% hydrogen peroxide on them. Finally, rinse off at the end of fifteen minutes, then hang the spoon to dry.

Clean your wooden spoons well after every use.

Rinse immediately after use. After using the wooden spoon, please rinse with warm water first. Do not soak it in the dishwasher, because the dishwasher may contain bacteria, which will be absorbed by the wood. Soaking can also cause wooden kitchen utensils to split or break. Rinse off all foam thoroughly. Use a clean towel to dry the wooden spoon immediately, and then let it sit before storing. Do not let the wooden tableware air dry alone, otherwise the residual moisture may cause warping or cracking

Condition and maintain wooden spoons.

Check whether the spoon is worn, cracked, or for signs of cracking. Check for any fluffy feeling caused by the grains becoming damp and swelling after a period of time. And by treating stains, conditioning the wood, sanding in rough places, etc. to extend its durability.
